Room was next door to vending machine. Floor that my room was on had a slightly "musty" odor.

Staff was extremely friendly and helpful...also gave us warm chocolate chip cookies upon check in...that was so wonderful!!!! :-)

Very convenient to the airport. Rooms are clean, but a bit dated. A/C did not work when we arrived, but after a call a repair man was in the room and fixed the problem in less than 5 minutes. Good value hotel, would stay there again.
"Perfect"
We booked this just as a quick sleep before an early morning flight. We have small children and were pleasantly surprised by the ample space and comfortable bedding especially given the price. Definitely will book here again.

I only spent a single night at the DoubleTree on JFK in Houston, but I was very satisfied with it. The bed was super comfy with lots of fluffy pillows and warm duvets, the room was very clean and tastefully decorated, and the shower was perfectly nice. A good stay, excellent shuttle services, however there was no contact number given in website or reservation to contact shuttel once at airport. Outside of that an overall good experience. Would gladly stay another night if my travels take me there.
"Unprepared"
I have stayed here a number of times. Upgraded rooma are nice, quiet, etc...but this time I arrived to my room that had not been cleaned and no apology was forthcoming from the staff. I will stay here again - just a bit disappointed after two days of travel.

The hotel was nice, roomy and we will stay there again.It was clean and staff was very helpful.
Arrived late and restaurant was closing soon, i didn't need food however desk clerk warned others in line and accommodated their need to run to restaurant. "Hilton Garden Inn near IAH Airport"
We enjoyed our stay! The hotel was very elegant and well staffed. Everyone was professional and kind! Would stay here anytime!!
We were there 3 nights and had a great experience. Didn't know there was a free breakfast until last day. Note; push channel up and down to get to free cable channels,on the TV remote.

Stayed in hotel an there was ants that bit me up real bad, had to change rooms to get comfort.

arrived after all normal food eateries were cloesed. only available was fast food and mini mart junk food. Dont bother if you only have a short time in the area

The king bed was very comfortable and the pillows were great. It was clean and wonderful for an overnight stay.

This hotel is about 10 minutes from the airport at the most. Very clean and modern. The staff is very pleasant and helpful! Has a great restaurant inside too! Great bang for your buck!

I only stayed over night on a layover flight but was pleasantly surprised on the cleanliness of the entire hotel especially my room. loved the cookies on checkin, checkin clerk worked very hard to check in, as we had done on hotels.com and did not come thru as fast as we would have liked

The hotel was beautiful, its in a great location, the staff was wonderful, the room was emaculate.I would most definitely would recommend this place to any one.
This hotel is a little run down from what I expected. The room was okay BUT the hallway areas/elevators need alot of work; from stained/worn carpet, yellowish peeling walls and the smell of smoke. Luckily, I only stayed for 1 night.

My wife and I spent a night here before flying out on our honeymoon. Very comfortable place. The front desk was quick and efficient. The shuttle service to the airport was direct and the driver was polite.

I stayed in this "near the airport" hotel as an alternative to the price gouging on airport hotel I'd stayed in a month before that was very mediocre. This DoubleTree has a very nice pool area surrounded by a mini forrest in the middle of the complex. The rooms are older style but with updated/upgraded options. Very clean and very comfortable. Flat […] Screen, large desk, etc... My one criticism is that the lighting in the bathroom is odd. Two lights, one on either side of the mirror.. nothing else. If the bathroom door is open when you shower.. you're basically showering in the dark??? Staff were great, bar and restaurant were more like the real world and less like typical hotel fare. It is a nice hotel that offers comfort and good food. Also you can find others choices to eat in th sorroundings. I specially enjoyed the Gym since it is very convenient for me.
if I need to visit Houston again I'll stay in this hotel very convenient, I check-in early in the morning works for me pretty good because I had set up everything in the hotel and go to my appointments. close to the fwys 45, thank you for all the attentions. it was comfort and quite.

"A Fine Hoel"
I got stranded at IAH when I missed a flight. The Doubletree was an excellent place to say the night with friendly staff, a reasonable price, and good shuttle service to the airport.

The Hotel was clean and the grounds were well maintained....the staff was very friendly and helpfull. I attended "Track Users Conference" and all the meals were provided by the Hotel. The meals were excellent, the conf. room was kept supplied with snacks and drinks. Great Job by the Hotel Staff.
