"marine Corp graduation"
This hotel is very close to Parris island and that's why we stayed there. Breakfast is good. The rooms are outdated and not all that clean. Shower drained slow and dirty. Carpet dirty, and our air conditioner leaked and our carpet was soaked. Pool was open and clean. Ok for a quick trip but wouldn't choose this for a vacation. Much nicer places in the […] area. Everything was good until I forgot my dress in our room and tried to get some help in locating it. I called three times, each time getting the run around. I still have not been called back to let me know where the dress may be. Customer service is not one of their strong points.

First the hotel was over booked, then the room that they gave us had roaches! In the fridge and we saw some crawling on the walls I immediately demanded to talk to a manager whom in my 4 day stay was nowhere to be found, come to find out people were living there before we had come so since our booking was non refundable and all other hotels were booked […] do to the marine graduation we were given another room which actually kinda clean could have been cleaner though never staying there again! I was looking for rooms in Hilton Head and expanded my search when it said that the Days Inn was only 16 miles from HH. I gues it is if you can fly, however, driving it took me over an hour. "It's OK"
We had two rooms side by side. In one of the rooms the sink kept over flowing. In the other room the refrigerator Stopped working. The rooms where damp and a little musty. "Port Royal Days Inn"
This was an ideal place to stay since my Marine is close by on Parris Island USMC base. It wasn't fancy. It was basic, but it was comfortable and affordable. I'd stay there again.
Days Inn in Port Royal was close to the event we were attending. Our room had a strange odor. DId not need hotel service so can't comment on that. Happy to see a fridge in our room. The breakfast was very satifactory.

This hotel was not fancy, however it was everything we wanted it to be. We were able to walk to dinner, it was clean, comfortable and affordable. Great stay!

Although the service was wonderfull, the room left my spouse and I very disapointed. From the burned and dirty comforters to the very thin walls it was not pleacent. But with everything sold out we had no choise but to suck it up. the only thing that help was our sleeping pills that lets us endure the noise from not only the next room but out side as […] well. "Convenient but poorly maintained"
At the recommendation of hotel.com, my family lodged at the Days Inn Port Royal because of its short commute to the USMC base. The cost was reasonable because several family members attending my son's Boot Camp graduation live on fixed incomes. However, upon arrival to the hotel everyone agreed we'd pay more for lodging. In my room, the bathroom floor […] had not been swept, the tile grout was filthy, there was mildew in the shower, and dirty/dingy around the door knobs on both sides of the door. My husband killed a bug in the bathroom the first day we were there. There was food in the refrigerator from the previous guest and the coat rack was broken. I plugged up my cell phone and the switch plate fell. The television and dresser were both covered with dust. It was obvious that grounds maintenance was not a priority because there were tree stumps everywhere and a hole in the ground inviting an accident to happen for someone not paying attention to where they were walking. The hole was in a very accessible spot on the grounds and truly a potential hazard. My first impression didn't give me a good feeling because the hotel is very old and it shows. The evening clerk was very friendly and helpful, but the morning clerk may have not been a morning person. I hope my review will assist the hotel's management to pay more attention to the maintence of its business. Port Royal seemed to be a friendly and beautiful place. The service at the service station and restaurants were so welcoming and are to be commended. However, I would not recommend the Days Inn Port Royal to anyone. Przeczytaj więcej

Nice room for the money. My main complaint was that it had the rough, thin, cheap hotel towels. It could be greatly enhanced with large, thick, fluffy towels. Also, the mattress pad on the bed was not anchored to the mattress and had a tendency to wrinkle up under the sheet. The toilet in the bathroom was very low. Was pleasantly surprised to how nice the place was. So convenient to MCRD and the staff were nice......the cleaning staff even folded my pj's thrown on the bed when the made it. Only sad part was that the Friendly's restaurant had gone out of business. Was so looking forward to a great burger.
Very convenient to the marine base and restaurants. No vent in bathroom, hair dryer did not work. Pool was clean and well maintained.
Stay there for my son's graduation from Parrish Island. The hotel was close to the base and easily accessible.

This hotel is horrible and don't recommend it to anyone. Customer svc is horrible, they don't take complaints kindly either. Was locked out of room several time every day I was there. Had to walk back and forth to the front desk to get key reactivated. They lock entrance doors after midnight, make you go around to a window, question your reservation, […] unfriendly with an attitude, then makes you walk around to the entrance to let you in. Very unprofessional. Worse experience I've ever had at any hotel. I am assuming their under different management as I stayed their 3 1/2 yrs ago to attend a Marine graduation and I had no complaints. During that time staff was courteous, room clean, continental breakfast was great. This time around....omg.....I thought I had to call the police. Don't waste your time. "Better than expected"
I read some reviews of this hotel and was expecting the worse, but since I was only staying two nights by myself and the price was right, I took my chance. Even though this is a much older hotel and the rooms do show it. The service outweighed the rooms condition. The room was clean, appliances worked, bed was comfortable, furniture including television […] was good. Shower was spectacular. I think I only would have three complaints. One is since this is an older motel, the walls are thin, and you can hear the plumming from the attatched rooms and if a child is screaming you can hear that too. But since this was only for a brief second, I can overlook it. If I was too stay here again, and probably will in the future, I would make a note to myself to bring my own pillows. Just as personal prefference the pillows are big and fluffy. The last minor thing is the internet is a little slow, to those who wish to work on their vacation it may be an issue, but you cannot complain because it is free. Front desk staff was Great !! Yes they deserve the large "G" in great. I arrived late added an extra night and they were more than helpful. I did not check out the pool, the vending area, or ice machine, nor the breakfast. Very clean hotel. Front Desk extremely helpful and supportive. Very informative about the "Friday Marine" graduations. I would stay there again. Great chicken wing place by light west of hotel. GPS was accurate for Hotel location, but not on some restaurants. Great caches (3) nearby (less than 2mi) Geo hunters.

The sink facet sprayed all over me every time I turned it on not nice! Could not use pool always full of kids. Had to park out around corner of building if you left at nite and came back. The room was very clean. The tub plugged up my husband fixed it. Need to report my and my husbands eye glasses I guess not packed. The other visitors were very loud […] and broke a water sprinkler in front of our door they did not report it we had to, but if was fixed within 3-4 min. I Stayed at this hotel because of it being close to Parris Island. I would recommend staying in a hotel a few miles farther and a few bucks higher. It was not clean, the ice machines were disgusting. It made me feel nasty.

"Adequate lodging"
It was a place to sleep but things in the room were very old. The refrigerator had lots of rust on the door and the bedspreads had holes in them. There was one cup of coffee for two people. We were glad we were staying only one night.
