Bardzo czysty, super obsługa. Niezła lokalizacja tzn. blisko centrum handlowego, zabytkowego tramwaju oraz w odległości pieszej 15 min od nabrzeża.

This hotel is an excellent choice, especially for those who are looking for a not expensive hotel in San Francisco. Location is good. However, if you are not used to long walking distance you may need to use cabs to move around, e.g. 30 min. by food from Fisherman's Wharf. Room is clean and it has everything you need. "comfort inn by the bay"
I thought it would be closer to pier 39. But overall it worked out great, especially with double decker tour buses stopping right there. It made accessable to everywhere in San Francisco.
"Comfort Inn By the Bay-convenient location"
The hotel is located quite conveniently and service was good. We didn't get a room with a view and apparently to upgrade, we had to pay extra. Only peeves were that there was a mess of wires on the room floor - that could have been better organized; and our room was close to the ice vending machine which was pretty noisy.

Would have enjoyed being able to see Sharks on TV but Comcast was not available.. Breakfast was very goode once we found out how to make waffels. Parking very tight in Disabled Section, sure glad awe had a small car. @26 dollars for one night parking is very steep..
Staff was very friendly and helpful. Walking distance to everything. Not the greatest room but served its purpose. Would most definately do it again.

I like the location, neat and quiet, away from the crowded union square or market street but very close to the crooked street and the piers, very good for a morning jogging or walking. "Good, but not great!"
Enjoyed my stay in San Fran and the hotel was good but nothing overly special. Parking was $26/Day plus tax extra, breakfast was decent but nothing fancy, no printer available (had to go down the street 10 blocks when I needed to print something last minute. The location was further from Fishermans wharf than I anticipated. Just barely on the edge of […] the district. Just little things though, no real complaints or anything major. Very good stay.........I would recommend to anyone visiting the Fisherman's Wharf area. Parking garage is very tight, better have a compact size car.

The room we got was postage-stamp size, with a standard-size bed (i.e. full), although we had booked and paid for what was listed on the site as a Standard Queen Bed. When I complained about this discrepancy, the management insisted that it was indeed a queen-size bed, and wouldn't back down on this. "Good location, nice view"
Our room was on the 9th floor, it had a nice view of the Golden Gate bridge. The room was nice and clean, the staff was very polite and friendly. It was a long walk to Fisherman's wharf, but we did not mind.

We got what we expected: a clean room at "Comfort Inn" Standard at a very good location (near Fishermens Wharf, cable car and buses to downtown) with a full breakfast included. The hotel is easy to find, located at the 101 Van Ness avenue with a lot of traffic. Though the good condition of the building and our room on level 9 this was no problem (don't […] know how it is in the rooms on lower levels). Our room price was therfore 10$ higher, but we had a marvellous view of the Golden Gate. It was was worth to pay little more. The staff was mostly helpful and professional. The only thing to complain is the very expensive parking in the hotel garage: We paid 26$ per day for our car. "Comfort Inn by the Bay 2775 Van Ness SFO"
It was worth it to pay a bit more to get a bridge view room. Room was clean and comfortable, some traffic noise but you're in a city. Continental breakfast is good, the room is small and it gets crowded at peak time 0800 - 0830ish. The plus is share a table and get to meet someone new. Overall good location, 10 min from the Wharf.
Furniture was a bit shabby. Old style air conditioner/heater instead of central heating/ cooling in the room. Parking garage was very tight, but I was prepared for that. On the positive side, the staff was helpful and friendly and the location was great.

"Simple but very clean, quiet and well located"
We arrived at night and were a little concerned about the neighborhood initially, but the room was very clean and comfortable. The cot we requested was already set up as we had asked. When we woke in the morning, we were treated with a view of the bay--from the Golden Gate bridge to Ghiradelli Square and the passing ship traffic. The location although […] not in Fisherman's Wharf, was a 5 minute walk downhill to it. The cable car to Union Square is 2 blocks over. The California line was available by taking any bus down VanNess to California--the stop was right there. We bought a 3 day MUNI pass for $21/person at the cable car station which gave us 3 days of unlimited cable car rides and all buses. From the hotel front door we were able to catch a bus in just about any direction we wanted in 5 minutes or less, including back to our hotel from behind Ghiradelli Square. Another plus was the at the hop-on/hop-off bus we took had a stop at a hotel 2 blocks away so we didn't even have to go to the Wharf to buy tickets or start the tour. Housekeeping gets an A+. We always returned with the room done and neat as a pin--I left a note most days requesting additional supplies and these were always provided. I requested the cot be removed on the day before last and it was gone within 10 minutes of the request. The free breakfast, although the same everyday, was extremely varied, fresh and easy, and included several hot items. Great coffee for which there were mugs and to go cups. Friendly and helpful breakfast staff who went promptly to get anything that was missing or that we needed. When we stepped out of our room the first day we were shocked by the number of people there because the room had been so quiet we thought we were the only ones on the floor. Great international population--we enjoyed visiting with and seeing folks from all over. This hotel was really solid, clean, consistent and well-located. We were really happy with this hotel. Great staff, great view, really good breakfast & close to restaurants. Only a 15 - 20 min walk down to Pier 39.

"You get what is expected for 2 stars"
This hotel was what you would expect of a 2 star hotel. No frills and so close to lombard St tram. I think it was a little expensive but we booked late and many San Fran hotels are expensive. This hotel was clean, quiet and for 1-2 nights it was fine. However the "double beds" were very small.

Very good location. Within walking distance to Fishermans wharf and to the Trolleys. The holel was clean and free of Cigarette smoke. Very good accomodations, All customer service people were friendly and extremely helpful.

I rated the hotel service low for one main reason. I am handicapped, on a cane. I had to make three trips to my car to retrieve my luggage and not one employee offered to help. I parked in handicapp stall, but I had to wait for and person to move their car out of the only stall available that was NOT displaying a placard, but took the space anyway. Comfort Inn on Van Ness and Lombard is a great walking distance to the wharf but the overall hotel amenities could use some updating. They showed a pool symbol and my son was very upset to find NO pool. There were not enough seats at breakfast so the breakfast "pressure" was intense every morning. Our family (with ages ranging from 4 to 90 years old) had a great time at the hotel. Excellent location right next to Lombard Street and a few blocks from the Fisherman's Wharf, the Golden Gate Bridge, and the Embarcadero. Great value as well!! We;ll definitely go back!!

"My only concern is the male receptionist"
The hotel is fantastic. I know that many people will complain about the free breakfast since they provide the same menu day after day but it is totally okay for me. The only concern is the bald male receptionist with glasses. He is not friendly at all!!. I almost make a generalization towards the entire receptionist due to him. But later on I found […] that the other receptionists are very friendly (extremely friendly I think). If I have a chance (which is unlikely) to come to San Francisco again I will definitely go to this hotel. "Above and beyond!"
The staff was great! The breakfast was good and the rooms were very clean. What I really appreciated though, was that I am lactose intolerant and I asked if they had non-dairy liquid creamer for their coffe. They provide half and half and only the non-dairy icky dry powder. One and the gals, Cindy actually bought me a vanilla non-dairy creamer for my […] stay and they kept in the fridge and would get it out for me for breakfast. That's what I call service! My sisters and I stayed here for one night to be near the Wharf. The location and the continental breakfast were great, but everything else was sub par. I asked for directions and the lady behind the counter, with an attitude, said" do you see where my hand is pointing?" Nice. breakfast (included) was good, it's less than a mile from Fisherman's Warf/ Ghiradelli Square, close to shopping, bus line, tourist activities. It was clean and easy to find. 3rd time we've stayed at this location.
The hotel is not real close to Fisherman's Wharf, but that is not an issue. There is a bus that is conveniantly located one block from the hotel which passes by every 15 minutes. The desk personnel are very informative, and they answered all my questions and were very helpful. Also you are exactly three blocks from Lombard 'streets crookedest street […] in the world. "Great view, clean room, choice location"
This is a really good hotel that is fair for the price. It's on Van Ness so you can get around the city pretty easily. We had a great view of the golden gate bridge from the room. "Comfort Inn- Great views, bad smell, high price."
I recently stayed in this hotel on a trip with three other friends. The room, and the whole hotel in general had a funky odor, as mentioned in other reviews. The free breakfast was lacking. Our room had an excellent view, and plenty of space for four people. The parking garage is a pain to get into late at night as is the front lobby. "Good location"
Pros: Located within walking distance of Fisherman's Wharf. Wonderful continental breakfast. Cons: Parking spaces and corners in garage are TIGHT, and there is only enough room for one car to go, yet the one lane is for both ways. Expect to do a lot of stopping and backing up. It is also $26 a night to park there. Oh, and a space is NOT guaranteed. […] The front desk clerk was not very nice or helpful. She told us to catch the bus going "towards the water" in a very annoyed voice when asked for help with the bus. OK, we're tourists...just tell us which way the water is at the very least! My stay at the Comfort Inn by the Bay was fine. The room was very clean and the morning person at the front desk was very nice. The restroom was rather small. The only complaint I have is that the room was very cold. I tried to look for a thermostat to turn down the air, but could not find one. If you stay here, bring a blanket or sweats.
