I booked through Expedia so there was some confusion on room confirmation. It was finally resolved. There is a drop period of time from booking through sales reps @ Expedia to the actual room reserve at the motel. I learned from this experience.

The hotel staff is very friendly The rooms have signs of deterioration. The room was leaking and when it rained the towel rack in the bathroom was completely wet. Also the water came through the window area wetting the carpet. The restaurant menu are mostly burgers and pizzas.

OK, I got the Queen room.. .It was SMALL. The room had a window to a hallway. Who designed THAT? They did the best they could with the design of the room, layed out pretty well. Bed was hard, tough to sleep if you are used to a soft bed.

The non-smoking room smelled badly of cigarette smoke; we had to air out the room while we swam at the pool. The bathroom fan didn't work and the carpet was stained.

The hallway is way too loud! I would stay during the week vs weekend, too busy. Wish they had continental breakfast, and larger coffee makers or more coffee in the rooms.Other parents don't watch their children, not a hotel problem. The restaurant was a bit spendy for me. Very polite service, housekeeping did very well.

We mainly stayed for the pool which is great fun for all ages! Otherwise, hotel is showing its age. very noisy. Convenient location to S.Falls Arena.

I took my teenaged dd and friend, and we enjoyed the experience. The restaurant had good food, the room was comfortable and tidy and very close to the arena. Not much else around within walking, but the pool was fun for young children, with slide and spouts. Front desk help was quick and pleasant.

I would recommend this hotel to any family who is looking for a relaxing get away. The pool/waterpark was great for the kids as well as the adults. We will definitly be going back!!!

The hotel may be fun for snowed in families with its small indoor water park. The hotel could use an update of carpet and amenities. What the hotel has is a tremendous staff of friendly helpful employees. I needed the assistance storing some additional luggage and arrangements for very early morning transportation to airport. The front desk staff (Cindy) […] and the shuttle drive went out of their way to help me out. While I had an issue with the toilet in the first room I was given the hotel and its staff were more than accomodating. They quickly attempted to remedy the problem and when unable they gave me a great new room. Great price and the restaurant was EXCELLENT.

The room was fine a little out dated, questionable service at the bar & hotel. 10 & 13 year old boys loved the "water park" no breakfast is a pain.

New menu at dinning facility, did not have the food advertised. Chairs in the room were very worn out, when our bottom touched the chair and you let loose the chair failed to support you, dropped between 4 to 6 inches. Turned both chairs over to find the springs were black with rust, springs are far beyond the need to be replaced. Pattern on the chairs […] dates back to the 1960's. Lighting in the bathroom was terrible to try to shave by. Pickup and delivery van needed considerable work, screw drivers etc. could have made things much more secure - however after repeated attempts to mention the problems we noticed none of it had been. After many hours of traveling with 2 children, it was great to arrive somewhere that was easy to find, clean, friendly and had all the things kids love--swimming, tv, and food and close to things of interest. Staff was wonderful and we enjoyed our stay very much.

This was our 3rd stay at this hotel and probably the best, in our opinion. The only reason we stay here is because of the waterpark/pool area, which our kids adore. We stayed mid-week and it wasn't overly busy, so the kids could play in any pool with hardly any wait for the slides. However, you can smell the chlorine as soon as you walk into the hotel. […] On this stay we didn't have a poolside room, which was actually nice because it was very quiet. A few things about the room that we didn't like, were that the toilet/shower area is very, very small and very poorly lit. Also, we didn't have a privacy hanger for our door, so housekeeper was knocking on the door while I was in the shower. Overall, its a fun place for families with lots for the kids to do. Parents will notice the hotel is showing some wear and that the beds aren't the softest, but I doubt the kids will care, they'll be so exhausted from swimming. Przeczytaj więcej

I have several comments to make about the stay in early July. First, there was mold in the bathroom (above the door) but not a big problem or us. Next, your staff is top drawer - Eric helped us on a couple of occassions which relieved us. The waterpark is wonderful for kids but I would like to see older ones kept out of the area where little ones play. […] The older ones were constantly running through and splashing toddlers. It was very comfortable in the pool area, kids had a wonderful time and it's set up so it's easy to watch kids. It was great having the restaurant, pool and everything we needed all at one place. From the moment I walked in the door the staff was very helpful. The food is a little on the high price, but your on vacation. The location is ok, close to the airport but far from the mall and downtown. The pool was very fun for my 5 and 3 year old. During the day it was nice to have the pool to ourselfelf. The families seemed to come out at night […] so it was perfect. The room was very nice, very clean. This is not a 5 star hotel but the staff made me feel like it was. The host while eating was was very helpful and nice, the bar tender was nice. The staff at the hotel was very helpful. There is a shuttle to the airport and we had to leave at 3am and they drove us. If you are going to Sioux Falls with your family I would recomend this hotel #1. But if you dont want to take the bus which has a stop about 500 feet from the hotel, or take a taxi to stuff this may not be for you. But if you spend a lot of time at your hotel this has everything. This hotel has a waterpark - very entertaining for families with children, noisy and distracting for anyone else. To avoid going through the waterpark to get to the restaurant or the desk you have to go outdoors. There is no breakfast included, although the food in the onsite restaurant - Castaways - is decent.

Our room was very hot, the fan/heater would not work. The lock on our room was broken, and when we took the kids to the play area, the games ate the tokens. After swimming in the pools our bathing suits smelled Bad. And the pool was supposed to be heated and it didn't feel like it. The guest rooms and hallways could use a serious update...I would also downgrade this hotel from a 3 to 2 stars. On a positive note, the tiki bar was a great place to relax and have dinner.

The hotel overall was nice however the overview of the room stated there would be a fridge and microwave it the room, there was not. I asked the front dest about the issue and I was told that they do not come in these rooms. I was offered a fridge at no charge as I needed one for medical reasons. This place was GREAT! the restaurant had really good food, with great service. My kids loved the pool area. If I'm ever out that way again, I will probably make it a point to stay here again. Keep up the good work guys!!!
