"Holiday Inn, N. Haven, Ct - Good New England town"
We have stayed here quite a few times and it is always a pleasant/ comfortable stay. Personnel are all very knowledgeable and friendly. There area has everything anyone could ask for - good people, good food and close to the interstate highway and all sights.

Other holiday inn had comp. Breakfast and this did not. We were Disappointed. We will not be going back to that holiday inn when we visit our friends again.

Clean, friendly and comfortable. This stay was the 3rd one night stay in this area. Sad it took this long to find this gem. Employees where extremely friendly and thoughtful. My room was across from train tracks, 3 train stormed past by my room, stopped by 9:30. The service, clean room and easy check in and out is going to keep coming back to gem over […] and over. "Holiday Inn North Haven"
The hotel is in an excellent location with access to I95 and I91. The rooms need updating and the bed needs to be replaced. The wallpaper was coing off the wall and the matress was very worn and uncomfortable. The room was good size. Ask for a room away freom the railroad tracks to avoid hearing the train during the night.
"Not worth the money"
My stay was only for a day. It was one of the worst visits I have had, especially for the price. There were nats in the bed, 6 keys didn't work, drinks at bar watered down. The manager gave me a whopping $8 breakfast coupon. Used that for cold oatmeal, undercooked eggs, extra slow service. It took 15 minutes to get my instant Oatmeal back after I complained. "Great Stay!!"
I booked 2 rooms with one going to my step-daughter. The beds were comfortable and the extra firm pillow was great. The room was clean and the shower was rejuvenating. The staff is very courteous and responded to our requests, no matter what it was. The restaurant and lounge with 20+ tv's had great food & a local feeling which made them very comfortable. […] The only drawback was that the elevator was on one side of the hotel & some rooms (where we were) was on the other side. "G.I. Joe Show"
Show was held in the Holiday Inn so staying there was extremely convenient. Accomodations are clean and comfortable. All the staff personnel are extremely friendly and helpful. Facility is aging and could use some updating but we will stay there again.

the staff was great...the room comfy...BUT...we had 2 females that walked the hall until 3am with no concern for others...they were very loud....and that didn't make a good night after being on the road for over 12 hours and not getting checked in until after 11 pm

If you're looking for comfort, this may not be your first option, as in my opinion the maintanance could be done a little better. The AC was noisy, so we could not sleep well. For a budget controled trip, this is a good option as the price is affordable.

We had a wonderful stay at your hotel in North Haven. Very close to Quinnipiac University, the reason for our stay. Very conveniently located to shopping, interstate and the College. Breakfast in sports grill was nice and efficient. Will be staying again in the future.

We were put in a smoking room that we didn't want or expect. It really smelled--they tried to help by spraying with deodorizer--helped a bit.

front desk experience bad,slow,after driving 5hrs, i presented my paid in full reciept and was told my credit card was no good..which i questioned with my paid in full reciept...told hotel .com didn't pay us yet so you have to give us your credit card or she was going to call hotel.com, when my husband got hot under the collar and started to yell they […] were trying to get dbl pmt. the mgr.then came out did something in the computer and apologized saying the hotel tax just went up and hotel .com charged the wrong tax this was all over$2.50...room ok, do not go to section c it is in the back and there are train tracks back there that runs all nite and sounds like an airport on the 1st floor you hear cars and keys and people all nite long.bar/restaurant staff friendly food good also..has a pool that looks nice..in the am however could not get breakfast because of electic failure in kitchen..motel not hotel Przeczytaj więcej
"Nice place for Price"
Room was clean, and the indoor pool with our 2 young boys was a home run. Staff very friendly. Gym was good enough. Negatives: Food from pool party sat in trays thru the next morning. Don't waste your time going to breakfast downstairs. We stood at entrance for 15 minutes and no one acknowledged us. Go to Greek Diner just up the road to the left.

"Motel not a Hotel"

The reviews all said the carpet was dirty. But for the price and convienence to work I picked it anyway. Once we walked into the room we both noticed how dirty the carpet was. It was really bad like it needed to be changed, not cleaned. Besides the ac being very loud and having to zip thru what felt like a maze to get to the ice machine, the stay itself […] was ok. HOWEVER after I checked out, I noticed an extra charge on my banking statement. I called them immedialty and someone did get back to me the same day. "Promises Promises"
We picked this hotel because it had a pool and sauna and smoking rooms. The desk clerk took 15 minutes to check us in, gave us a non smoking room, the pool was closed and the bathtub plug did not work.In response the service was cavalier. Do not go here.

The hotel staff was very courteous and helpful. Only complaints are the coffee makers need to be replaced, they took forever to brew a small pot and most of the water evaporated in steam. The carpeting could also stand to be updated as it was very stained in places. Also, the heater is very noisy and was on and off a lot. The food we had from the Grill […] was excellent. "no pool in July"
we booked a room at the North Haven (CT) Holiday Inn for the POOL and when we got here it was under renovations for the week.. in July no less. Very unhappy after that although room was very comfortable. It was too much of a hassle to change hotels and did not want to make a scene in front of children
"barely acceptable"
the rooms coffee maker did not have a top on the pot so it overflowed. There was no air conditioner so the room got too hot. But, the location was convenient for our needs and the hotel accommodated us nicely by bringing in an extra cot. I guess about as good as I expected for a Holiday Inn at the price we paid....

cellings are a mess, just a old smelly hotel in need of a update, Harrys the sports bar was nice and well prices, the pool was also great.

I found the hotel to be very comfortable and clean. I would not recommend eating in the sports bar. Nice place to have a drink, but the food was terrible.
Das Zimmer war sauber, aber für diese Preisklasse zu spartanisch eingerichtet. Das Personal war jederzeit freundlich. Nachmittags gibt es Kaffee kostenlos in der Lobby, wird aber zu selten nachgefüllt. Das gleiche gilt für gebuchtes Buffet-Essen innerhalb des Hotels. Kaffee und Nachtisch reichte nicht für alle Gäste, selbst Kaffee und Tee wurden nicht […] nachgefüllt.
