Holiday Inn Johnstown-Gloversville - Johnstown

This hotel was just perfect..my only suggestion is that instead of sheer curtains on the windows they should have privacy curtains.. so guests in the parking lot don't have a view of me in my pjs :)

UPDATED, IMMACULATE, FRIENDLY. No negatives at all.

Room was clean and very comfy. Bed was comfy. Roomy enough. Was a nice walk in shower but had only one piece of glass resulting in the floor getting all wet every time someone showered. Kind of an odd design. Great location and convenient to a number of chain restaurants. Would go back again.

Our stay was very pleasant at this hotel. It was even pet friendly. If we had known, we might have brought our dog. The restaurant was very nice. The grounds were very nicely maintained.

I love this Holiday Inn - great service and comfort.

Clean & comfortable

Hands down the nicest staff I've ever met at a hotel. Every single staff member we met were friendly, helpful and honestly seemed happy that we were at the hotel.

Ckecking in was quick and our room was ready as we were early; Pool clean, room very clean, maid service was excellent. Pool towels were provided at the front desk. KIDS ATE FREE; A nice perk. Would stay here again. All stores for anyones needs were close. restrauant and lounge were also a very convenient.

Wonderful experience. Service was great. Rainy night so we stayed in for dinner. Lamb chops with mint jelly was cooked to order and very tasty. Food was so good we had breakfast there our last morning. The rooms were clean, beds comfortable. Plenty of towels. Microwave and refrig in room. The hotel was recently renovated. I had a good stay at this Holiday Inn. The service was excellent and the hotel appears to be recently renovated. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. I would definitely recommend this hotel and use it in the future. There is also easy access to plenty of fast food places, grocery stores, banks and other things in the area.

The hotel has recently gone through remodeling, and is top notch. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Cable TV, and free high speed Internet in all rooms. The food in the hotel restaurant is very good, and reasonably priced. Fitness center is well equipped, and the pool sure looked inviting. I wish the weather had been better, so I could have used it. The […] only issues that I had with the hotel were as follows. The coffee left in the rooms for the guests is the worst coffee that I have ever tasted. (And I was in the Army for over seven years.) Every two days the room keys stopped working, and I had to go to the desk to get them reactivated. Was told that this was the fault of the people working the desk, and after the second time it happened, it never happened again. Over all this is a great place to stay, and I will stay there again. I had breakfast one day at the hotel. I sat outside the wait service was NOT good. It seemed as if they forgot we were there. A patron who was there before me had been waiting for more that 10 mins already. I had to go inside to get a waitress fof both tables and even then they were slow. The hostess seated us so there was no reason for them not to […] know we were there. Then the food was served but w/o th usual breakfast condiments. --NOT GOOD. Been traveling for years to Gloversville, NY and stayed many times at this hotel through many years of changes. This is the nicest place to stay in the area and has really been upgraded. The hotel was in poorer physical condition than I was led to believe from the website.

Received some bonuses we didn't expect. The staff (all) was efficient, friendly, and accommodating.

The hotel is under construction but it didn't bother us. It will be be nice when it is done because it will be updated.

very satisfied with our stay even though it was only one night it was nice to come into a very clean and tidy room.

Dejligt hotel, med en god pool. Fint værelse med køleskab og fryser. Morgenmad var incl. i pris. Men det var lidt forvirrende at man så alligevel kun måtte spise for 20 $, når vi nu var 3 personer. Og at maden skulle bestilles som en restaurant, uden at man kan se hvad man bestiller. Godt vi selv havde noget juice og brød i køleskabet. Ellers godt hotel, […] venlig betjening.
