"Not so great ..."
I walked around my room in nice clean white socks, and after a minute they were brown with dirt from the carpet. The surrounding neighborhood isn't nice, and the hotel wasn't very clean. Not impressed.

"An overnight while traveling"
It wasn't the most prestigious place but it was clean and served the purpose of an overnight stay on the way to Orlando.

We found this hotel to be very friendly. My only concern was the rooms cleanliness. Overall it was clean except it looked like the sweeper could have been used around the edges of the room. There was also dust on the TV. We would probably stay there again and give them another chance on the rug

"Quality Inn in Macorn"
Our Stay at the Quality Inn in Macon was one of the best we have had. This was a half way stay for us on the way back from Fl. to TN. My husband was thrilled that it was close to his favorite restaurant . From checkin to checkout very pleasant people, very clean spacious room, We will choose this again/ JM from TN

We were just there for an overnight stay, so didn't demand a lot. The location is fine, but it was difficult to find the entrance off the main road because it was raining and dark. After you get off I75, there is no sign on the street on where to turn to get back up to the hotel. The breakfast selections were very good. "Loved the night check in person, very personable!"
The hotel was nice and clean, esp for the price. It was centrally located to many restaurants and right off the interstate. The night check in lady was esp nice, warm and welcoming.

I reserved a non-smoking room. When I walked into the room it reeked of smoke. I called the office but they didn't have any other non-smoking rooms available. "Great stop in Macon for an overnight"
Lovely hotel and very friendly staff. Went down to breakfast thinking it was over but items were still available and fresh. Additional coffee bags for the room were supplied by the evening staff no problem.

I travel a lot and I was very pleased with this hotel especially that I work nights. It was very comfortable and quiet. My hat goes off to the staff, most hotels I have stayed requesting a late check out and letting them know I work nights, means an additional hour and the maid banging on the door from 9AM onward every hour. We booked this hotel on our way back to home. This hotel looked just like the pictures. It was very clean, friendly staff. Upon check-in we were provided with a list of restaurants along with directions and staff was nice provided us free upgrade to suite room, We liked that.The room was close to the Ice-Machine which was a concern until we realized […] how quiet the room was! As for the room itself, again it looked just like the pictures, It overlooked the parking lot, but again no big deal there. It was clean, quiet,with mirco-fridge and Free wireless internet our kids loved it, also 32' flat screen tv, the channels was so clear was amazed. We have a 12-year-old girl and 9-year-old boy, so both needed their own space. Our daughter slept in the other queen bed and our son slept on the sofa bed, perfect. The beds were AWESOME, very comfy. The pool was clear crystal the kids had great time. No hot tub but that was okay . Pool towels are available so you don't have to get your room towels dirty/wet. The breakfast was yummy, plenty of options including hot stuff (waffles, eggs, sausage, biscuits, gravy etc) and lasted until 9:30am so even those who sleep in could get a bite. Only thing bother not enough seats. Coffee is available 24/7 if you need caffeine later than noon :) We used the business area to access our e-mail, check the weather, etc. which was convenient too. Terrible breakfast...cheap ...cheap....not clean milk container nasty..etc. Fan in bathroom not working, dirty carpet, smelled of smoke in non-smoking room. Ice machine not working had to walk to lobby. Glad I was only there to sleep for few hours on way to Florida.....

The worst night sleep in my life. A fight involving several young men occurred in the parking lot outside of my room. A call to the front desk resulted in no assistance. The room was "modest" at best and the service of the desk staff atrocious. I would not recommend this to anyone.
The staff was courteous and the room was comfortable and clean. I would stay here again.

I stay here with my family, I have stayed at other hotels in Macon but honestly this is the best hotel i have experienced and the credit goes to friendly, helpfull staff at hotel and the management for keeping hotel upto date. "Quality Inn Macon, a work in progress?"
Check in was smooth. Wake up call came on time. Breakfast was good. The room was spacious and for the most part clean. Tub floor was stained brown. It appeared that a mat was removed and not replaced in both rooms I rented. My shower/faucet control did not work properly so water flowed from both when I selected shower. The light over the sink did not […] work. Upon checkout I told the GM of the problems. He came back to the room and said that the sink light was controlled by a switch at the front door. He flipped it off and on. Still no light. I went to switch by the sink and turned it on , no light. When the switch at the front door was turned off the sink light came on. The three way switch was obviously incorrectly installed. I showed him the shower control problem, he reached in and wrenched the diverter quite hard and the faucet flow lessened quite a bit. I had not done that as I did not want to break off the corroded handle. We went back to the front desk and checked out. I did not ask for nor was I offered any discount or apology for my inconvienience. The staff were polite and well meaning but the place seems to be a work in progress. Front desk was courteous and provided towels for the pool upon arrival. The room as excellent and very clean. There was allot of stores restaurants in walking distance. The breakfast had a fresh waffle maker, fruit juice machine and coffee machine, milk, pastries biscuits and gravy. Basically the breakfast was a hot free breakfast if wanted. "Hotel needs a little more help"
Newer carpeting and bathroom tiled nicely and clean . The A/C unit cools but is loud and the beds need to be replaced. Way too lumpy/squishy for me. Will look elsewhere next visit.

"Affordable and convenient"
If you are looking for an affordable and convenient place to stay this would be a good choice. The room wasn't bad although it could have been cleaned better. The ceiling was chipped and cracked plus the bathtub seemed dingy, however you get what you pay for. One night max would be my recommendation.

"Good for Money but don't eat breakfast"
The hotel was pretty nice. The bath tub had obviously been amaturely fixed but the room was very clean. Breakfast can be skipped unless you like continental or waffles. All other items I would have preferred from McDonalds.

The room and the price were great and I will definetly stay there again if I have need to be in that area.

The location was convenient. However, there were bugs in the bed! Also, although I had prepaid for two nights the housekeeping staff tried to make us leave and we had to take the laptop downstairs to pull up our reservation confirmation in email to prove that we didn't have to check out.

Room clean and nice, about 10 min. to Mercer Univ. Felt safe in parking lot. Great large hot breakfast. Staff very nice. Non-smoking room smelled a little like smoke and there was a large burn in one of the bedspreads. There was a small coffee spill on one of the down blankets. Located right at I75 #169. Several fast foods very close.

Hotel was very clean and is located near shopping and good resteraunts. We stayed overnight during a baseball tournament and had no problems at all. This is the best bargain in Macon!
