Very good location on your way to Florida , but my room the did not work and was to late to change rooms. I also would suggest you get there early in evening so you can check out your room early
Beds were 2 full sized not the usual queen sized found in most economy hotels.

Let's start with the CONS- this hotel is definitely not up-to-date. This is especially noticeable in the bathrooms. The bed was extremely comfortable, I bet I didnt sleep 1 hour! PRO'S- Although not up-to-date, the room itself was extremely clean. In fact, cleaner than a 5 star hotel I stayed at a few weeks ago. "Ramada Inn Forsyth, GA"
The room was very clean and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, the inn is very hard to find and other than a Waffle House, there was no where to eat in the immediate surrounding area. That meant we had to get back in the car (after driving 600 miles that day) to find something for dinner.

I WOKE UP WITH A SEVERE BACK ACHE. TOSSED AND TURNED THE WHOLE NIGHT. WHEN I GOT UP THE FOLLOWING MORNING LOOKED AT THE MATTRESS AND SAW WHERE THE SPRINGS HAD WORN THROUGH AND WHERE VISIBLE THROUGH THE MATERIAL AT THE TOP OF THE MATTRESS. THE ROOM SMELLED OF OLD BODY ODOR. KIND OF LIKE AN OLD MAN THAT HAS NOT BATHED IN A WHILE. RANCID BODY OIL. THE […] CLERKS AT THE FRONT DESK WERE VERY NICE. THAT WAS THE ONLY POSITIVE THING TO MY STAY. I CANT SAY I WILL BE STAYING AT ANOTHER RAMADA HOTEL. I SHOULD HAVE STAYED AT MY ORIGINALLY PLANNED LOCATION OF THE HOLIDAY INN EXPRESS. WISH THE BAR AND LOUNGE WOULD HAVE BEEN OPEN. I WAS AT THE SAME HOTEL AND ATE AT BAR AND GRILL. IT WAS GOOD AND CONVIENT.
"Good Stay"
The area was very quiet and peacefully and the staff was very friendly. My room was very clean and comfortable. I enjoyed my stay.
My only comment would be to have "drapes" instead of shears covering the windows. People can see in. Didn't like that. Everything was fine.
"Old and Run Down"
The online pictures of this hotel are obviously quite old. Stayed there partly because of the work-out room, but the machines were old and in ill-repair with no ventilation in the room. On-site restaurant not open. Would not recommend it to families. Go to Macon - it's worth the extra 15 minutes.
"Outside door entrances"
My wife was staying by herself her, and the room had an outside exit door. Can you believe that at a Ramada conference center? Noisy she claimed, and had lightbulbs out. Bad internet reception.

I had a conference at the complex across the street from the Ramada and the location couldn't have been more convenient. My room was exceptionally clean and was even cooled off when I checked in (most hotels don't have the air on when you get there!) The pool area was also clean, which was nice. Inclement weather was headed our way and when we asked what to do in the event of a tornado (which actually did come through the area, very near to the hotel, in fact) he had to pull out a manual to give us the answer. "Depressing"
The room was clean. The staff was pleasant. But, overall the hotel was depressing. Mostly unoccupied, hallways weren't swept, some facilities out of order, and the breakfast buffet was awful. The rate was certainly fair and the room was clean. But, I couldn't wait to checkout.

"Room 107"
I was extremely pleased with the location of this room. I am handicap and it was easy to get to the room. It was just around the corner from the front of the building. It was very near the place that I came to visit. It was also very close to the main part of town.
"Pay for what you get"
It's cheap. What more can I say. If you're use to four to five star hotels then this will not work as a convenient stay in a town with only one or two hotels nearby. Do yourself a favor and stay in Macon or drive further north, stick with four for five star stays. This one is barely a 2.
"Good place for the price"
Hotel room was clean, customer service was average and there are very limited places to eat in the area.
