There were 4 of us girls staying for the BMO Marathon on Sunday May 5th we came down May4 and was pleasantly greeted by the front desk. We were pleasantly surprised with a complimentary up grade of our room to a fully renovated room with fridge and balcony and pull out hide a bed. We were offered late check out which gave us all enough time to shower […] after our race then next day, and were stocked with plenty of towels. We had an incredible view of false creek. I will definitely be staying here again as the staff was accommodating, the rooms were very nice and clean/comfortable, and the location was perfect..only a couple blocks to the Canada Line and plenty of shopping and food right at your door. My last stay here was less than I would have liked so I was disappointed when I realized I had booked myself back in. I said as much to the desk clerk. After a key problem I got settled and the staff and hotel lived up to the stay I expect at a quality chain. We needed to be close to Vancouver General Hospital.The hotel is within walking distance. The staff was very accommodating and our stay was very pleasant.

Was dark in the room only a couple of lamps, no bathroom fan, pool was nice but a hot tub would have been good as well. And no continental breakfast not really a big deal. The staff was very friendly the lady at the front desk was very informative on bus routes and things of that sort for us to get around easier

This hotel was clean, new, had great food and was close to everything. It was very surprising for a Holiday Inn and better than many hotels I have been staying in recently.

The location is great being 2 blocks from the SkyTrain and on the same line which runs from the airport. The pool is beautiful. I was upgraded to a room that was newly renovated and it was gorgeous.

We were very pleased with the location, service, quietness and cleanliness of this hotel, as well as the good food at the asian restaurant next door. My only issue was the poor coffee maker, it could have been better and I would have preferred real glasses and cups rather than disposable ones.

Very poor reception, we were kept waiting far too long. Only one staff at counter even though there was someone behind in the office. I may not return just because of it. Why is it all these hotel have such poor tv reception, blurred tv's and poor colour, its not the 1950's.

The room was nice.. Small but clean well organized and quiet. I booked here because of the pool and gym. I arrived late evening and just had time for a workout and swim. When I got down to the pool there was a crowd in it, drinking, yelling, running around. I decided to go to the gym first but the noise was so loud that down a hall and through another […] door that I knew I wasn't going to be able to relax. I called the front desk. The manager was on his way and other than telling them not to drink, did nothing. I came back 20 minutes later and then same behavior was continuing. I called the front desk again and the front desk clerk told me I could get up at 5 am if I wanted a quiet swim. Then in the morning I was woken up by the maid walking in, thankfully I woke up when I heard the card unlock the door and before the door was open. You can put all the nice things into a Hotel but it is the service that decides if I return. I have no interest in dealing with this kind of service again. the room was fine but if u want a fridge that is $20 if you need to park a car that is $17/per day if you want anything other than basic cable (no movies) there is a charge

We toured the Van Dusen Frestival of Lights and it was a great location and the hotel staff were very friendly and informative.

Excellent location, skytrain is a few blocks a way and a taxi downtown to the stadium cost us only $10!

Great location. Attending six professional days of lectures and in-services within the hotel. Was very happy with the conference rooms provided. Also stayed at the hotel and found it to be everyhing I needed as well. Friendly staff with excellent service. Thank you again.

The convenient central location is the best thing about this hotel. The only actual complaints I have is the lumpy substandard pillows and the mediocre mattress, and also there was NO frig, which I would often use for snacks & leftover restaurant meals.

Adequate hotel if you need one in this location. Staff was above average. Hotel near many restaraunts and had a good quality breakfast.

We got trapped, taxis blocked going forward and pedistran and heavy street traffic made backing on to the street nearly impossible. The crib provided was excellent. Not a playpen like in other places we've stayed, that are impossible to clean, but a mini crib. The hotel was exceptionally clean and the service was great! Nice pool. Would definitely recommend to everyone with or without children.

The hotel was entirely sold out the night I stayed there. The breakfast bar was a little underserviced (only one person filling coffee and collecting checks. Room was clean. Bed comfortable. Decore modern. Staff polite. At one point I called the front desk wondering where I might find a vending machine so I could buy a couple bottles of water. The desk […] sent up 3 bottles free of charge in less than 3 minutes. Only thing that would have made the stay better would be a hot tub or a city view. I booked a room with two beds, one for a school friend and one for myself. Upon arrival, I was lead to believe we were up-graded to a better room only to discover it had a single bed. Very friendly/professional staff. Good food in restaurant, good selection of wines, friendly bartender. Although bldg has non smoking rooms, could smell smoke in some public areas. Its a great part of Vancouver if you're already familiar with the downtown. Walking distance to Canada Line and very well serviced by buses to UBC.

This was a very nice hotel for the price and a Holiday Inn. The rooms were clean and kept nice by the staff. There was an issue with the parking garage elevator, so I asked for the $17/day fee be waived and they agreed to do so.

Very comfortable. Horribly noisy ice machine rumbling every 30 mins thru night ,but my fault for not telling management.great location with Sky train and bus service at door. Lovely Charleson park bordering False creek at back door.

My SUV would not fit in the expensive parking provided. The next lot they sent me to was full. I ended up parking in an unsecured lot that was quite a distance from the hotel and inconvenient.

I was in need of an affordable hotel near granville island and this worked out well. Ended up staying a full week. The desk staff is nice and pleasant, the cleaning staff is a little aggressive in their want to get in and clean every day, but thats not really a bad thing. I would stay at this hotel again.

Good quality hotel to stay at, close to many shops and restaurants. However, their business centre computers are poor, so bring your own and use the free wi-fi.

Breakfast comparable to that which was included with the hotel cost of every other of the 6 hotels we stayed at during this trip cost $12.95/person!!
