The Marriott Buffalo Niagara has a lot to like, from its proximity to the University at Buffalo campus, to its lightning-fast room service. If you need wi-fi, however, be prepared to pay an extra fee per night. It's a little frustrating to look out your window and see the Red Roof Inn touting its free wi-fi and lower room rates. Nice and comfortable hotel. Jacuzzi was amazing after a long shopping day.

The room was very clean and the bedding is extremely comfortable. We were very happy with the service top to bottom.

Recommended.

There was some construction in the lobby area, but overall pleasant hotel and pleasant staff.

Good value in cleanliness and services for the money. Pool area was clean, restaurant under refurbishing, so that was a big drawback. Room and restaurant clean. This was our second time @the hotel.We were there in May for our son's graduation,and were satisfied both times. The new restaurant was not open in May,but had opened by the time we there the second time.We were not sure if it was opened,since the sign outside said"coming soon".Anyway,we called prior to ask if we needed reservations,and were told it […] was not necessary. The food and service was pretty good,although it was a little pricey.For about an hour,we were the only patrons in there.Then two other families came in.We basically came into an empty restaurant,and were a little reluctant to enter.but were glad that we did. Hotel was a convenience location close to Buffalo and Niagara Falls, restaurants and shopping. Very clean what you expect from Marriott. I only had one problem with the TV had to call maintenance to reprogram each time it was turn on. Staff was friendly and very helpful.

A lovely hotel, easy access to the highway. A nice spacious room. The staff were kind enough to get us a refrigerator to use in our room. A nice accomodating gesture. However, housekeeping did not refill any of the coffee or cups for our use the next day. (We stayed two nights.) They also left a dirty water glass (glass, not disposable) on the nightstand. One […] of the pillow cases had an old stain on it. (It was clean, just appeared to be an old stain.) Small details - I would still go again. But it's nice when housekeeping does a great job so we don't need to call for coffee supplies. Love the Starbucks in the gift shop - that's a nice treat for the extra round of coffee we needed. A couple of friends recommended this hotel and we were not disappointed. The staff from the front desk to the servers in the restaurant to the lady who made up our room were very accommodating and friendly. We would definitely stay again. The only concern was the lack of supervision at the pool and hot tub.

We chose this hotel because of the outdoor pool. It was perfect for us! The service was EXCELLENT, the pool was tons of fun and the breakfast buffet was a GREAT way to start the day! We really LOVED it here and I would stay here again on my next visit. It is only about 20 miles from the falls and the drive was not bad at all. I read several reviews […] before I booked this hotel. From what I read, it was a great place to stay. Now from experience, I can tell you ~ you want be disappointed! Thanks Marriott for a pleasant, perfect vacay! i have stayed in various marriot hotels among them this one seems to be the last. Chair in the room is not comfortable, old carpet, no proper aircondition.

The hotel was quite comfortable. However the elevator carpeting was dirty and old. Some areas of the hotel were being renovated. I can't wait for the completion of the renovations which will enhance the positive experience of a Marriott hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful. I would definitely return to this hotel.

Although I was only staying at this hotel for one night, my stay was very comfortable and smooth. I had no problems checking in early, the room was exceptional, and most importantly the customer service was delivered in a timely and polite manner. Their shuttle van was able to take me to my destination at no extra charge which made a huge difference […] in my trip. Considering the hotel is undergoing a renovation, it must have been planned very well because we did not experience anything negative in that regard. Our room had the new furniture and a new vanity area, and I think the walls were redecorated throughout, but I don't think the entry doors were addressed at all. The room entry doors must be hollow because […] they stop no corridor noise whatsoever! Our room (603) was way down the corridor on the sixth floor so we figured that we would not get the typical elevator/corridor noise. WRONG! Perhaps the entry doors are part of the future renovation - I would hope so. If not, then the hotel should put some serious consideration to how to dampen noise in the public space for patrons who are trying to sleep in their rooms. It was very frustrating because we were constantly awoken by slamming doors (typical, but very noisy in this hotel), people talking and you can hear their feet 'stomping' down the corridors. The heater in the room is an old type HVAC unit and it is the noisiest animal around. It goes on and off constantly in order to try to maintain climate control, but when it does go off it goes through a whistling and whining process for about ten seconds!! When you are trying to sleep, you can imagine that this would grate on your nerves for a family of four in a double room. In general, we could have had a very nice stay, but the primary reason for our stay was to get a good night's sleep before our early flight and unfortunately this did not take place. I really hope that the renovation will address some of these issues for future patrons. The key system malfunctioned and we had to redo our key. it is an extremely long walk from check in to room elevators. There were many kids running around the lobby. they were part of a soccer tournamanet but because the activity space an lobby are closer than the elevator lobby there was no other space for them to congregate. Hotel was a convenient one night for me. safe as I was traveling alone. Lots of options through the TV entertainment. Service for room service good...but food less than edible. I would stay again....just not count on room service.

Very enjoyable hotel. Only 20 minutes to the falls and very easy directions. Had dinner in the hotel and very much enjoyed it! I would stay there again.

Best hotel of three stayed at during road trip across NY state with family. Friendly staff, can-do attitude, good breakfast, clean comfortable room. Wanted to stay longer.

The location is convenient - a 20 minute drive to the American Falls area. Lots of restaurants, pharmacies and shopping around. The Hotel staff is very kind and welcoming. The room was just perfect - clean and comfortable.

Went there for a week-end mini break, this is the only hotel we stay in when we travel to Amherst. The staff is so friendly , the rooms are comfortable, and the rates are terrific...

We stood two nights at this hotel rented two rooms. Both rooms were very clean and comfortable. Definately remodeled everything seemed very new. Staff was friendly and accomadating. Didnt visit restaurant, but on the second night we were informed about a complimentary concierge lounge (which has breakfast in the morning and snacks at night). Except for the requirement to go outside to smoke--which is the rule rather than the exception everywhere you go now--the stay was perfect---the maids also respected my wifes wish to not clean the room while we were away--a rarity in the industry

Everything was great about this hotel except the Internet charges. I knew that they were going to charge extra for the Internet, which I was not happy about considering the premium rates, but I was aware of that when I booked. However, I had two laptops with me, and as it turns out, they charge PER computer. So I had two pay twice per day, just to […] use their somewhat flaky Internet service (it wasn't very fast and blocked some ports which prevented me from using my VPN for work). I actually ended up going to the Starbucks on the UB North Campus nearby and using the free wifi there. They are spending money to fix it up and most items are in place. However, the halls and my room had a mildew smell that was very obvious.

Elegant, comfortable room. There is nothing to complain. Everything was above expectation. Flat screen TV was trendy. Loved it.

It is clean, recently updated, service was great. It is literally minutes to Niagra Falls and less than a mile from the highway. Many restaurants in the surrounding area. Great location and overall quality.
