We recently attended a dance convention at the Hyatt. All of the staff that we encountered during our trip, front desk, housekeeping and management, were very friendly and helpful.

"Nice & Quiet"
I enjoed the peacefulness at this hotel. I even liked the off-centered location of the front desk that added to the peaceful setting.
"Comfortable place for the holidays"
The staff took care of special requests. They were timely. Felt "taken care of". Walls seemed quieter than other hotels; appreciated the calm, quiet atmosphere.

"The Hotel In Michagan"
The Hyatt was great, Great location. Faboulous rooms clean and great view of Michagan night lights of the city. Me and my husband would highly recommend this hotel for any event.

"Beautiful hotel, rude staff"
We had came back from a loud football game late at night and was unfamiliar with the area. We arrived and asked if where we could find or purchase Tylenol and the woman at the front desk said they sold it in the gift shop but that it was closed. She gave us the most fake apology and did not give us any clue as to where we may be able to get some from. […] The next morning we went to go get the breakfast buffet, which we paid extra for, to have included with our room rate. We went down at around 10:30am and was told that the breakfast buffet was no longer available despite breakfast being served till 11. We were told we could order off the menu. We sat for nearly 10 minutes before a server came to greet us. We ordered our two simple meals off the small breakfast menu and waited nearly another 20 minutes before receiving it. The order was wrong and the server never checked on us so that we could let him know. We had to go up to the host stand to inform them that we were even finished and at that point just wanted to leave. "fancy lobby"
This hotel is located in the parking lot of the Fairland Shopping Center, so it is very convenient to restaurants and shopping. The Hyatt is a very fancy... dramatic hotel... in all of the public areas... but the rooms are no big deal. All in all, a nice hotel... but you are paying for the glitz in the lobby.
You should warn your visitors when a large amount of young people are staying with you, such as in our case was a large number of boys hockey teams. We should have been put on a floor that was not occupied by the teams. The noise went on in the hall until well after 2 a.m. We love kids but we are senior citizens and we also like to sleep at night.

Stains on chairs, carpet was dirty. Damage to some of the walls and borders. Bathrooms were very out of date.
You need to change the smoking availiblity We knew Michigan was none smoking in all hotels but hotels .com advertised the Hotel had a smoking bar in it . Was very dissappointed that the ad was false. "Hotels nice but the rooms are horrible"
The carpet had patches all over and the bathroom toilet seat was stained yellow. Not so nice.....far below what I expected.

"Great hotel...some staff not so nice"
The hotel is excellent, and the front desk and house keeping staff are very nice and helpful, the staff the were manning the breakfast for our group in the grand ball room were extremely rude, when I asked for a fork, they said they were on the tables, when I said there wasn't oone they told me oh well you should have gotten here earlier. There was […] also coffee police who were quesioning people getting a to go cup of coffee, that they were actually leaving...so overall if you don't have to deal with the staff at group meals it is a great place. "Poor Housekeepint Serive"
No one came to change the linen, clean the room or replenish supplies (coffee, soap, etc) while we were there. I will never stay at this hotel again.

All and all the building was beautiful but seemed to be undestaffed. Room service food was left lying in the hallways for days. Was very gross! In one area it appeared that people had gotten in a food fight which was left but was eventually picked up. Outlets in the rooms to plug in chargers etc seemed in short supply. Very friendly and helpful staff, lots of staff around to assist. Really lovely room, pool is very family friendly. Greenfield Village 5 - 10 minute drive away.

"Wonderful Stay"
The hotel staff was very courteous and willing to help in any way theu could. The rooms were very comfortable. The hotel hiosted several weddings while we were there without interfering with the other guests comfort. They allowed a car club to use one complete parking lot for a car show and set up a fast food line in that parking lot for the show attendees. "Clean but pricey"
The hotel was clean. The rooms nice. The beds comfortable. The staff friendly. However, everything is an added charge. Internet service, water bottles, breakfast. We will not stay here again. Pool was clean, but very small and poorly lit.

Etwas abgewohnt - Dafür gibt es das Business upgrade - 20$/Tag - inkl Frühstücksbuffet (18$), Internet Flat(10$), 1 Fl Wasser (5$), Zeitung und Bügeln inkl - PRO TAG. - SUPER ! Whirpool hatte 42 Grad Celsius !
"Komfort mit Mängeln"
Die Lage des Hotels ist sehr gut, wenn man das Ford-Museum besichtigen möchte. Detroit-Downtown ist allerdings etliche Meilen entfernt. Wir hatten ein Raucherzimmer gebucht, beim Check-In teilte man uns jedoch mit, dass es in diesem Haus keine Raucherzimmer gibt. Besonders negativ dabei war, dass diese Information auf extrem unfreundlche und arrogante […] Art und Weise übermittelt wurde. Die Sauberkeit im Zimmer ließ sehr zu wünschen übrig: verschmutze Steckerleiste im Bad, Griff des Haartrockners klebrig, Papierreste auf Teppichboden.
