"Good for business with an easy airport access"
A nice comfortable hotel with nice well appointed rooms. The gym and health club is excellent with good equipment and not busy, but sometimes they do not open when they are supposed to, but just go to reception and they will come and open up. Breakfast was excellent and the wiFi internet was the best I have ever experienced in Saudi Arabia, a real advantage. This is the "older" Radisson hotel in Jeddah, but don't let it fool you into thinking it isn't worth checking out! I think the hotel had been renovated at one time because it is an older hotel in an older section of town. They have done a fantastic job as the inside is great! "Good Hotel, Excellent Staff / Service"
Prior to this visit, I had stayed at this hotel some 10 years ago when it was under a different name. The experience this time was almost the same. Super fast check in by Alex, smiling, very courteous, and friendly. The room was fine with a bit of ware on the upholstery but nothing worth mentioning. Didnt try any of the restaurants but the room service […] was prompt and excellent. Check out by Maher was again very courteous, and professional. Its always the small things which matter such as automatically asking if I needed a cab for the airport. Danilo, the bellhop was also very helpful and friendly. What ever little deficiencies this hotel may have since this is an aging property, they are more than made up for by its excellent staff and service. "Radisson Blu 2 - Jeddah"
I spent 4 nights at the Radisson Blu in Jeddah - off which there seem to be two. My cab dropped me at the wrong one first as there is one on the same road. The hotel staff were quite nice and warm, except for the security guy who really has no people skills. The food was fine, as I'm not too picky. The breakfast service was excellent and plenty of […] choice. My biggest complaint about this hotel was the condition of the building and the rooms. The wallpaper is 629 was peeling off in places. The TV was an old Panasonic CRT from the 90s with limited viewing fare and not pay TV option. The whole place had a very worn out look. "Radisson Blu Hotel, Jeddah - Nice Hotel to Stay"
Knowned this hotel as when it was the Hyatt Regency Jeddah. Design and central hall are very nice but the hotel does not have a swimming pool which might be important if you have the time. Hotel personel is very nice. Located on a very busy street so it takes time to move around especially as the city has expanded a lot. Most rooms have been refurbished […] but the Italian rooms are especially nice (they cost a little more than the Deluxe but it is worth it) but ask for a street overlooking room since the inside room are pretty dark due to the small Arabic styled windows. I have stayed at various hotels in Jeddah and this one is very good. The staff are the best asset. They are very helpful and always smiling! The hotel is a little dated. The rooms could do with renovation. The food was very good. The internet worked fairly well. Not much in terms of restaurants or shops near by. I stayed at the Radisson Blu during the period May 18th thru 20th, 2011 and enjoyed the experience immensely. Brunch was delicious and I thought the Salmon Dinner was reasonably priced. "The most humid hotel ever!!"
Arrived in my room at 2.30 at night I didn't have a lot of choices, in the morning I made a complain and 2 people came into my room pretending everything was fine. The linen was wet and all my cloths were humid. The housekeeping guy told me it was because the wet season outside, unfortunatly for him I live in Middle East since 11 years and such lies […] don't work with me. Then the hotel manager apology with me saying that the reason of such humidity was due to some antisysmic construnction problems which honestly I didn't understand.
