"Business conference"
Overall, it was good. We stayed there because it was the hotel that the conference was at. The staff was very friendly and helpful, hotel was clean, neighborhood felt safe. The only down side was it wasn't close to other activities (downtown, shopping for my wife, etc.) so we spent some more time in the car driving to those places.

Check-in was quick and staff was very friendly. The bed was one of the best I had ever slept in. Great experience.

If you are like me and spend a couple days reading reviews about where to stay before you travel, this hotel is a good one. I should probably say that we are really picky when it comes to places to stay/sleep, and we both came away impressed. I have never been one to be relied on too heavily for finding my way around in Minneapolis, but this hotel was […] really easy to find and was in a convenient location. There was a hockey tournament in town along with a large group of kids on a church retreat, but there was plenty of parking available. Upon arrival, we were greeted by a VERY friendly staff. They gave us a couple of warm cookies to welcome us that has already got me thinking about staying here again in the future. YUM. We asked for recommendations for a good place to eat that wasn't going to drain our wallets after a long day of shopping and they were quick to point out all of the different restaurants in the area. There are tons of places to eat within just a block or two. Parking for these restaurants was less than perfect, but that's beside the point. The hotel staff even described the vibe/atmosphere/price ranges of each restaurant to help make our decision easier. The lobby of the hotel was nothing to ooh and aah about, but that didn't matter to us. It was just fine. No complaints. This hotel has 15 floors and our room was on the 12th. Despite having 4 elevators, only 1 was working, so it made for a long wait/ride up and down the elevator. I don't think it was the hotel's fault though. The elevators were being put to the test by the endless stream of 12-14 yr old kids from the church retreat. The one elevator that did work, stopped at every floor to pick up more kids. The hotel did have someone come out to try to fix it though. The pool was pretty small and the hot tub was a decent size, but with all the kids, we decided to leave our swimsuits in our suitcases. "Happy with the Decision to stay there :)"
The check in was very fast and efficient (Thanks Sara), when I needed to change rooms the staff member Andrew brought the key exchange UP to my room rather then making me come back down and even though the hotel was booked solid that weekend, my room service order was extremely prompt, that I swear he was waiting till the clock turned 700am to knock […] on the door. "Noisy"
We had issues with the guests. Maybe consider a sign on each floor reminding guests that conversations in the hallways are heard inside all the rooms . The staff was very responsive to our neighboring party room. But it was still an unrestful night at 10:30pm, 1:15am & 3:24am. Nice staff at check in and with our noise issue.

"Doubletree Hotel has many things to offer"
We have stayed several times at the Doubletree Hotel in St. Louis Park. It offers an excellent location, friendly staff, and a pool for the grandkids. I wish the hotel would increase the water temp in the hot tub because it is only a warm tub. My husband and I have stayed at this hotel several times. We no longer live in the area, but still have Vikings season tickets. This hotel has become our "go to" place to stay. Nice rooms for a reasonable price. It's just minutes to the Target Field/Center area, plus it's within walking distance to a great shopping/dining area in St. Louis Park. Had to park in Costco lot 2 nights (St. Louis Pk) due to NO space in hotel lot. MANYT children there due to tournaments. Tied up elevators for over 20 minutes. When we did complain, it was handled immediately. We stayed here for the Vikings game and although it was not downtown it was only 4.5 miles to downtown a great nightly rate and free parking We parked in a parking garage downtown for a fee for the game and split three ways that was still cheaper than parking at a downtown hotel. It was in a great area where right across the street was a Toby Keith's […] bar and grill and other restaurants and bars and shopping as well. Only complaint was the coffee maker. Brewed 2 cups...and both went into one. Good news was the people at the front desk gave us 2 cups of coffee free.

"GREAT hotel: stay spoiled by HORRIBLY LOUD GUESTS!"
Not the hotel's fault, but my stay was ruined by my neighbors...having the time of their lives from 12 midnight until 3:47 in the hallways. Lovely otherwise, but I won't be back.
First let me give you my thanks for taking the time to fill out this survey. We do read all the feedback, for it is one of the ways we use to evaluate ourselves and continue to improve. I am truly sorry you had such a noisy stay with us. That was a difficult time due to one particular group. We always strive to have a clean quiet hotel and that night we did not make the quiet part. I do hope when you return to the twin cities you give us another chance to make it right.

Overall, everything was fine. The bed was a little too soft and sunk in the center. The hot tub was the same temp as the pool on our first morning. I have back problems and was looking forward to the spa.

It had been a while since I stayed in Minneapolis and I decided to stay in a different part of the city. I booked this hotel thru Hotels.com and took a chance. I was very impressed with the accomodations. It was more than I expected for the price. I would definitely stay there again.

Very nice hotel in a great location for movie entertainment, restaurants and shops nearby. Easy access to the Interstate system lets you get to sporting venues, theaters, museums, etc, throughout the metro area. Front desk staff were very pleasant to work with and responsive to our needs. Very nice and clean. Staff was very polite and professional. Only complaint was the small hot tub and pool. Hot tub only held about six people and was not much warmer than the pool was. Staff was extremely friendly. Hotel was nice and clean. Location was great for walking to get things we needed to get that we forgot for our daughters move to college. The only complaint about the hotel was that the beds were not very comfortable.

"In town for a graduation"
Our stay was wonderful! Hotel lobby was beautiful and our room was very clean and comfortable. Staff was friendly and helpful when asked about directions (this was our first time in Minneapolis). The warm chocolate chip cookies upon check-in were a nice touch. :) We'll definitely be back on our next trip.
